On December 20th our whole class except some people went to Tacos---a western restaurant to have meals with the grade 12. It is one of our chapters' in our portfolio—culture awareness. It asked us to go to a Western restaurant we chose Tacos because we thought Tacos is affordable for our students.
At about 6o’clock we met at Tacos. First we ordered our meals we had a very long list for all of our meals there were so many people in Tacos so the waitress and waiter got mixed up our meals and we waited for a long time for our meals almost 1 hour and we were all starving. There were way too many people that they didn’t even have forks. It was boring to wait for meals so we took a lot of pictures with each other. I ordered beaf with rice same as most of the people.
The boys’ meals were faster than the girls’ but I was really starving so I took Chester’s meal from him because we ordered the same meal. Then everyone else at our table is staring at me. When the meal came we invited the grade 12 to take pictures with us. The boys ordered a lot their table was full of empty plates. The meal was really delicious and we ate all up including the girls.
After eating they said they wanted to go singing and most of us agreed so we took taxi to get there. There were too many people but a very small room so some boys had to sit on the floor. We sang some English songs too. I went home at about 9:30 otherwise it was too late for me.
Eating together with classmates was a fun and interesting thing to do. We can chat what ever we want and we are the same age we will plan to go out together again sometime.
